At the Spring Budget, the Government announced £300 million to be distributed across English councils in order to provide additional discretionary support for those facing the steepest increase, specifically as a result of the 2017 revaluation. The amount allocated to RBWM is £678,000 for 2017/18. This support is provided under Section 47 of the Local Government Finance Act 1988.

I have secured with my fellow councillors Pryer, Wilson and Airey a £450,000 investment into the roads and pavements in Clewer North and Dedworth in the coming year.
I believe this is a fantastic result for Clewer North which has often been neglected.

We have arranged for our community wardens to hold drop-in sessions at the Spencer Denney Centre and in the Dedworth Library. These are informal and confidential sessions where Clewer North residents can pop in and discuss road safety, anti-social behaviour amongst other issues with the community wardens.

Hashim has been selected to attend the Commonwealth Youth Forum in London between 16-18th April 2018. The future of the Commonwealth depends on its one billion young people and this Forum is vital in giving young people a voice.
The Commonwealth Youth Forum provides an opportunity for the young people of the Commonwealth to build cross-cultural connections and networks, debate the challenges facing its young people, and agree youth-lead initiatives to influence decision makers and ensure young people have a voice in its future.
