Cllr Bhatti and Cllr Pryer have ensured that speed limit signs have been installed on Gally’s Road. Despite the speed humps and parked cars on the road some motorists still go too fast. We have also delivered on a promise to residents in Tudor Way to get a speed sign installed.
Furthermore, there is now a proper pedestrian crossing outside the Tesco Superstore on Dedworth Road. Clewer North residents complained that the old speed hump outside the launderette confused motorists and pedestrians.
We have also taken a speed hump out completely at the pedestrian lights near Smiths Lane and we have got a new street sign installed at Longmead Road.
More work is needed to slow down vehicles in our area - we will continue to ensure that road safety in Clewer North is a key priority.
