Cllr Bhatti invited as expert young leader to the “Connecting Actions” Symposium in Paris with ODIHR/OSCE

I was invited as an expert young leader on interfaith to share my knowledge and experience with other European organisations.

The aim of the Paris conference was to bring together expert young leaders from a range of countries to work together at the European level to strengthen coalitions focused on intercultural, interreligious and inter-identity dialogue.

Dialogue is a serious business and if society was paying more attention to those initiatives, societal challenges like racism, intolerance, radicalism and violence would be tackled very differently and much more effectively.  The coalition that this movement will allow is the best prevention tool for the multiple clashes that riddle our social fabric. 

It’s time to show what we can do, collectively.  The OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights, sponsored the initiative.
